About us

Several scientific studies have brought to light the alarming rise in childhood obesity, diabetes, especially over the last 15 years. The prime factor contributing to this trend is the rising consumption of fast foods, processed foods, and particularly, sugary foods and drinks.

Global Initiative for Nutrition and Health (GINHA) is a 501(c) 3  nonprofit organization founded with the goal of creating awareness about the risks  of processed and sugary foods and educating children and youth about the importance of healthy nutritional choices. With rising childhood obesity and diabetes  rates, we believe that educating children would help foster lifelong healthy habits. GINHA has been reaching out to middle school and high school children globally, to not only  educate and create awareness about this important health issue, but also to motivate them to take a leadership role in advancing this cause.
